Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa

The Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST) is a public health consortium founded in 1989. The CST provides integrated healthcare services to its patients in all kinds of acute and chronic diseases. More than 2,000 highly qualified professionals are working in CST centers to provide technically appropriate care and humane and personal treatment. The research prioritized from CST is multicenter, multidisciplinary and linked to care activities. The CST promotes translational research that aims to improve the quality of care and health outcomes for our patients. The research activities of the professionals of CST, during the period from 2004 to 2009, have been focused in 53 research projects.

The CST is one of the 3 project demonstrators for the implementation of RESEEPE technologies and it will contribute to the following work packages: WP4: Design Methodology for energy efficient building and district renovation. Decision Support Tool: Retrofitting Planner. WP5: Building Components Design and Prototyping. WP6: Demonstration at public building and district level. WP7: Impact assessment, replicability and exploitation. WP8: Dissemination and Communication.
